Gospel artist Sbu Noah has thanked Newcastle for the support he received during the Joyous Celebration Thirty 30 Tour stop at Farmers Hall.

In a heartfelt reflection shared after the show, Noah described Newcastle as “a breath of fresh air,” saying the audience came ready to worship and stayed with the performers from the first song until the end.

He also opened up about struggling on stage due to sickness, but said the Newcastle crowd responded with love rather than harsh criticism.

Noah said the experience restored and renewed his joy to serve, adding that while he welcomes constructive criticism, the warmth he felt in Newcastle stood out.

The Joyous Celebration Thirty 30 Tour took place at Farmers Hall in Newcastle on 13 June, bringing one of South Africa’s most loved gospel music brands to the city.

For Newcastle gospel fans, the message from Sbu Noah was simple: the city showed up with love, worship and support.
