Smartphone Avenu is expanding its services into connectivity through a new partnership with Vodacom, introducing WiFi and mobile data packages starting from R249 per month.

The rollout is expected to begin on 8 June 2026, following an announcement made on Facebook by Smartphone Avenu founder Sfiso Kubheka.

According to the announcement, customers interested in the packages will first need to submit their ID number for vetting.

Once the application is approved, customers will then be required to provide an ID copy and a personal or business address for delivery or possible fibre installation.

The move marks a new step for Smartphone Avenu, which is already known for smartphones, accessories and tech-related services.

By adding WiFi and mobile data packages, the company is positioning itself beyond device sales and into everyday connectivity services for households and businesses.

The packages will start from R249 per month, with customers expected to confirm package details, coverage and installation requirements directly with Smartphone Avenu before applying.
